Midseason finales are the bane of many television viewers existence. Our favorite shows air major, cliffhanger-y episodes before taking a few weeks off for the holiday season. The wait in between is excruciating. Luckily for us in this day and age, information is readily available when our favorite shows will be returning.
The CW has announced their Winter 2016 schedule which will include the departure and premiere of some of our favorite shows. Here are some of the biggest changes:
- Reign will return for three more episodes before going on hiatus with its own Winter Finale on January 22. No word on a renewal or cancellation has been given on the series
- DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the network’s superhero mash-up series, will premiere on Thursday night in the 8 PM timeslot on January 21, 2016.
- The 100 will follow Legends of Tomorrow with its third season premiere on Thursday nights at 9 PM.
- The Vampire Diaries and The Originals will shift to Friday nights from their original Thursday night timeslot.
